'Rabbit's clever,' said Pooh thoughtfully. 'Yes,' said Piglet, 'Rabbit's clever. 'And he has Brain.' 'Yes,' said Piglet,'Rabbit has Brain.' There was a long silence. 'I suppose,' said Pooh, 'that that's why he never understands anything.'

I'm mostly retired from the software, electronics and avionics industries, but I still consult and sometimes enjoy cooking at an Italian restaurant. I still build embedded electronic and infrared systems for various people, but that's work.
This page is about what's happening the rest of the time.

I've live about an hour outside Atlanta with my dogs, cats and unusual machinery. I garden in the warm weather, keep bees, bake bread and have come to love spring water, Jonagold apples and all things Appalachian.

It's kinda fun, although it does have its moments.  Sort of a Deliverance goes to Silicon Valley style of thing. Or maybe Under The Tuscan Sun with a side of grits ...

From homepower and hydrogen, ducks, bees and heirloom veggies to huge blocks of concrete, homebuilt jets and wood-fired pizza there's a lot going on. You can even check out the Opinions page for my latest thoughts on life, love and engineering.

So take a look around if you like;

Hold your breath. Make a wish. Count to three.
